Future Destination Part II {Prague}: What I'm Packing

The weather in Prague is not always cold as I had once thought; it actually is hot in the summer, warm in the spring, and cold in fall/ winter. They also seem to get a bit of rain. My favorite season is fall, so I'll pretend that I'm packing for Prague instead of Tacoma, WA this fall.

For Prague I thought a lot about neutrals, things that would be let me roam the streets of Prague until night but also let me spend the days seeing the sights.

Future Destination Part II { Prague}

I've never heard too much about Prague and when they referred to it on Sabrina: The Teenage Witch, they made it seem super miserable, and cold. So I was shocked at how pretty, and old ( a good kinda old) it looked. It looks so full of history and architecture.

Future Destination Part I {Morocco}: What I'm Packing

If I had the opportunity to go to Morocco right now, here are some of the things I'd want in my suitcase. I wanted there to be a lot of color, and really easy, flow dresses/skirts/ shirts. Nothing that would constrict me. I am enjoying playing dress up, I think I 'm tricking myself into believing that I'm actually going to Morocco tomorrow. Dreaming doesn't hurt.
Happy Weekending!

Future Destination Part I {Morocco}

It may be because I am watching the Real Housewives of New York who are in Morocco, but I need to at some point go to Morocco. I'm sure their trip is a lot more glamourous because of ($$$), but Morocco looks absolutely amazing. I want to wander the streets and take in all the scents, sights, and people. I want to ride a camel and go to a super tight spa.

Washington/Oregon Trip {Seattle/Tacoma}

Today my dad and I are in Portland but yesterday we had a fun time discovering the Seattle/ Tacoma area. We visited Puget Sound- and I'm in love, I can totally see myself going to school there and having tons of fun. The campus was gorgeous (so many trees), and the cold weather really wasn't that bad.

The city of Tacoma is really small and cute with a lot of antique shops, trendy restaurants, and adorable houses. My dad and I stopped at a southern style restaurant, Southern Kitchen, we got fried chicken, okra, mac 'n cheese, candied yams, and a peach cobbler. It was my first time trying genuine southern food, and it was so good. The people were so friendly and welcoming, as well.

We didn't really know what to do in Seattle, but my only request was to see the space needle. It was really cool, and the ride to the top gave me butterflies.

Lil' guys.
The real deal.

The rain hasn't stopped.

On the way to Portland- it was excruciating.

More on Portland and Lewis and Clark later.
Happy Weekend hope you spend it exploring and having fun!

Washington/Oregon Trip {Weather}

I'm headed off to Washington today and I'm so excited to be able to see another state/ and college. However I'm kinda worried- weather wise. I'm born and raised in California so I know nice weather (even if I live in SF). But in the Washington/Oregon region it's all rain and clouds. Sure I knew what I was getting myself into by applying there but it's only starting to hit me now.

So I'm going from this...

To this...

Me being worried is only natural (our highs are close to 70, theirs are barely 50). Good thing I just got a new pair of boots!

Vive El Idioma

I saw a video of Paris from the Live The Language and I fell in love with the Barcelona version. It is just making me dream of summer and lazy beach filled days....

Pretty Things {+ A Summary of the Week}

How good do Fridays feel? Ahmazing! I love having three day weekends and not having to worry about waking up so early Monday morning. This whole week has consisted about the idea about my friends and I spending a month in Spain and France (2 minors and 1 barely adult galavanting about Europe- so down) as a little graduation present. I knew it would be challenging convincing the parents but not this hard. I also just started reading The Rockstar Diaries- a really cute blog about a couple, little Kingsley, and a really close +1. School has been off my radar for a little bit, because the stress is low. But in Marine Bio we dissected a fish and raced to find the Otolith (no idea what that is), which consisted of ripping fish heads. I hope everyone has a very relaxin, fun, and productive weekend.

I hope to see you sooon!

...You Too!

I love polaroids but I wish I had kept them!
Way too many Ferris Wheel problems in math class this week!
I love Marie Antoinette- Sofia Coppola is a genius!
