Midweek Food For Thought and Song
Being in Washington I constantly hear about this guy name Macklemore, so I got curious and decided to listen to a couple of his songs. I absolutely love them and can definitely see them becoming some serious gym songs. Take a listen:

I have...
zip lined
learned the power of dedication and hard work
made lifelong friends
learned how to make omelets
went to Costa Rica to monitor Leatherback Turtleslearned that people don't usually remember what you did, but how you made them feel
made it to college (let's hope I can make it out)
learned that most people don't care about what you do, so don't be afraid to say or do what you feel is right
been truly happy and blessed with such a wonderful life.
I want to...
experience love
learn how far I can push myself
study abroad
learn as much as I can in college
be more involved in school life
learn how to say yes
see the good in everyday
learn how to give back to the world
I hope your Thursday is a amazing as mine is today!
xoxo,
Ana

taking the show on the road...
today's the day i leave the Bay for a new home in Tacoma! i am nervous, excited, sad, anxious, did i say nervous already? i keep reminding myself that it is probably not that big of a deal and i should just chill, but i really can't. that awful butterflies fluttering, heart sinking into stomach feeling has been bugging me. my posts may be a little irregular for a couple of weeks while i settle into college life.

outside lands {music}
...
while cruising through Golden Gate Park thursday, a friend and i saw people setting up for outside lands (a 3 day music festival). "wow, why didn't we get tickets again?" "i have no idea. but it's probably too late" "no, they are still selling them" "huh." later that night ... "do you wanna go to outside lands" "yeah sure lets do it, it seems worth it" It totally was.
yesterday (friday) was the first out of the three days of outside lands. my friend and i ended up seeing: MGMT, The Shins, Ellie Goulding, Collie Buddz, The Original Meters.
the plan for today: Muse, The Black Keys, Sia, and Ok Go. but from what i learned yesterday is that nothing goes as planned.
hope your weekend is super fun!
*pictures to come later...

Surprise!
Usually I expect my summer to be very relaxing but work has been kicking my butt and is actually taking up a lot of my time. By the time I get home I'm kinda dead- you'll find me sprawled out on the couch.
This weekend is looking to be pretty packed too- Harry Potter in the morning, Graduation dinner, and then on Sunday I have to run errands for work. &&& I leave home in a month!!

Fish Tail
After seeing it on the runways, on the red carpet, and even at school I needed to do a fish tail braid. Today I just did a fish tail braid!!! After being super unsuccessful in March {click here} I basically gave up on it altogether. But a week ago I did a super cool braid {click here} and braids have been on my mind ever since. So I sat down on the couch and told myself you are not leaving until you do a fish tail braid and VOILA! I must admit though it was incredibly difficult in the beginning because my fingers didn't know what to do, but towards the end I kinda just got it. My sister is gonna be so jealous when she comes home from camp.
Learn how {here}, her tutorial was the best I think.

June
Summer is here! Wait why is it raining outside? Oh right because I live in San Francisco, where the weather hardly ever matches the season. Grrr.... This makes it really hard to believe it's summer and is totally cramping on my style. Despite the weather outside there are still things that are uplifting my mood... By the way half a year has gone by already, we are just zipping through time.
{I HAVE to get there somehow. How much is in my piggy bank?}
{These glasses are so sick and would go great with the convertible hidden in my garage as a graduation present}
{I envy this Cali native living it up in the beautiful Paris}
{Awesome shoes for my collection}
{I fell in LOVE with this hat from Anthropolgie, too bad it is completely overpriced}
{Totally my summer get up- if it were sunny}
{♡}
{That is exactly what I looked like last night with my current book}
{Drool.... }
{This online mag. is so fun and pretty to read and look at}

WORDS TO LIVE BY THIS JUNE...
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Photo Challenge {Day 2}
The No. 2 picture for the challenge is a picture of what I wore. I wore this outfit to hang around the city with my friends. We saw Kung Fu Panda 2, hit up the Shakespeare Garden in Golden Gate park, and then down to the Marina to eat at the weekly Off The Grid event. We had many impromptu photo sessions. But these two pictures I took myself.
Cardigan: Gap
Tank Top: Urban Outfitters

You're looking at a High School Graduate!!!
I graduated high school last night and I was surrounded by tons of love ones. I was scared out of my mind about falling on stage or my hat falling off- but it went very well. I was able to take so many pictures, and have an amazing dinner at the Tonga Room. I celebrated with my parents, sister, cousin, aunt, best friend (and her parents), other best friend (parents, grandma, and aunt/uncle). It was the perfect place to celebrate because it was such a fun environment with a live band (playing some tropical tunes). It made me want to travel to an unknown tropical destination (also known as Hawaii). I am about to kill it with pictures (sorry)
This is not the end, this is only the beginning. Thank you to my family and friends, this moment couldn't have been achieved with their support.
