Future Destination Part II {Prague}: What I'm Packing

The weather in Prague is not always cold as I had once thought; it actually is hot in the summer, warm in the spring, and cold in fall/ winter. They also seem to get a bit of rain. My favorite season is fall, so I'll pretend that I'm packing for Prague instead of Tacoma, WA this fall.

Future Destination Part I {Morocco}: What I'm Packing

If I had the opportunity to go to Morocco right now, here are some of the things I'd want in my suitcase. I wanted there to be a lot of color, and really easy, flow dresses/skirts/ shirts. Nothing that would constrict me. I am enjoying playing dress up, I think I 'm tricking myself into believing that I'm actually going to Morocco tomorrow. Dreaming doesn't hurt.
Happy Weekending!

Heading To Rio

Via

So I am not really heading to Rio De Janeiro, but that doesn't stop me from creating an outfit to go along with the dream. I do however really want to go in 3 years when the World Cup will be in Brazil- Verde- Amarela for life! The country is famous for beauty: beaches, women, architecture, and culture. It has been raining cats and dogs in the city, so a trip to the exotic weather, and beaches of Rio are looking pretty fantastic.

Springgg

It is officially Spring! The cold weather is behind us- well not exactly we apparently have storms headed our way in the Bay. But Monday the weather was sunny and I got the feeling that the rainy weather will be gone soon, to give some sun! Although my family has called a cease of spending I can't help but feel the need for a wardrobe change with the change in season. Unfortunately or fortunately I have to make due with what I have. I have highlighted a couple of things I hope to rock this spring.

  1. Floral dresses and skirts
  2. Lady-like shorts
  3. Delicate white tanks and dresses
  4. Boat shoes
  5. Fun necklace chains
  6. Cool headbands

Chic Street Wear

i was looking at The Sartorialist and i noticed all these very beautifully dressed women and i thought they all looked so good in their high heels, coats, scarves, dresses, jeans, etc. that i needed to share them. This has also made me want to learn how to walk in heels, my friends know that i dread wearing them, however i do love looking at them and buying them, but when i try to even take one step i wobble and am always so close to eating the floor (not cute), i also figure that i won't be able to wear converse forever in the professional world.

A girl is freaking riding a Vespa in her heels!

By the way how beautiful are these picture?

Stuck at Home

Hey you guys! Even though I'm on Winter Break I feel that I am getting even less sleep than usual. The good thing is that the weather is very Wintery (cold, rainy, windy, and miserable) and since I am stuck at home taking care of my sister- I have a lot of down time. We usually lounge in our sweats all day, until my mom takes us shopping or my dad takes us to walk our dog. But if I were to go outside right now this is what I would want to be wearing:

I am really craving a sweater dress- because it can work for winter, fall, spring, and San Francisco summer's. Usually I am not a fan of wearing boots with anything other than pants, but I am being converted slowly. I featured Madewell's infinity scarf again- it looks way too cozy. I love the drape jacket, which has shearling (which has been very popular as of late). Four more days 'till Christmas!! Christmas morning is always the best- except when my parents don't want to get up and open the presents.

Why Isn't It Christmas Yet?

Over the weekend we got a bit of rain and now I am begging for an east coast winter (not that I have ever had one, but it sounds amazing). I personally feel a lot happier during the winter, aside from finals. So with winter and rain in mind I created a perfectly comfy and rain appropriate outfit.

Happy November!

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of November is obviously Thanksgiving (then Harry Potter!)--> with pumpkin pie, stuffing, my annual dessert, family, and being thankful of all the blessings in my life. I have always hated dressing up, it may be the fact that my mom always made me wear such awful outfits during parties (see picture). But I love wearing a dress that can be dressed down and this dress is just perfect.

As any good San Franciscan I am watching the NLCS game 3 Giants vs. Phillies, and emotions are funning high. The city has been filled with nippy weather and  pride and spirit that can only be seen with the World Series right around the corner.  All around school you see boys with orange and black ties, shirts, hats. And girls with their Giants gear, including moi. Let's Go Giants!
On another note, my school has announced this years DEALL activities, and my top three choices include:
1. Backpacking in the Lost Coast
2. Habitat for Humanity - Gulf Coast
3. Kayaking
Freshmen year I went to Quebec, for an exchange. Sophomore year I took a cake baking class. Junior year I went to Costa Rica to study Leatherback turtles.
