Summer is here! Wait why is it raining outside? Oh right because I live in San Francisco, where the weather hardly ever matches the season. Grrr.... This makes it really hard to believe it's summer and is totally cramping on my style. Despite the weather outside there are still things that are uplifting my mood... Dyeing

Maybe growing up you were able to dye your hair purple, red, blue, blonde, brown, black, white, etc. Well I never got the chance and growing up I never felt that I was missing out on anything super special. But today I really want to take the plunge and dye streaks (the ends mainly) of my hair purple. Meet my super strict mom- she says no. What's a girl to do? Well she'll wait until she's 18 (less than 6 months away) and do it then. Haha she is so sneaky.

I envy and admire anyone who can create beautiful, unique awesome crafts. I am in no way creative, well I envision it one way and then it comes out all wrong. And it's frustrating because I love to DIY. People come up with the coolest things and I can only hope to imitate them in the best possible way.

Adele

Gorgeous!

The first time I saw/heard Adele's Chasing Pavements, I was in complete awe. I thought it was one of the most amazing videos ever, and her singing was so beautiful. It was awhile until I heard from her again, but when I did it was even better. She came out with her second album 21 and is again #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart. She is on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and is talking all about her ex, weight, father, stage fright, and more. Take a look, she looks smoking- congrats girl keep the music coming.
On her body:

"My life is full of drama and I won't have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like…I don't like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even If I had a really good figure, I don't think I'd get my tits and ass out for no one."

Weekend Finds

Style Inspiration

Whenever I find something online or in a magazine I store it in a literal folder or on my computer folder titled: Style Inspiration. I never really get to share these with anyone and they tend to stay on the computer untouched. So I thought I'd show some of my favorite pictures that I really enjoyed. I don't know what exactly makes me pick a picture but it definitely has to do with the way the woman in the picture carries herself. Cause she could be wearing a paper bag but if she is totally confident and proud to be wearing it then she looks bomb! That is probably the prettiest and hardest thing to attain. Unfortunately this world isn't filled with confident and self-loving women, we all knit pick at our insecurities. But the best thing to do in that situation is to own our issues. This can be obtained by looking at yourself in the mirror and loving what and who you see, and we should extend this even further and look at everyone the same way. Love who you are cause you are all you've got!
