4th Of July Weekend

I hope your extra long weekend was full of good times, while celebrating the United States's birth and honoring our troops. I watched Surprise Homecoming on TLC (which records the reconnection between families and their loved one who was serving in the army). I burst into tears watching the moment when they realize their significant other is home. There were some beautiful moments. However you spent your weekend, I hope you had fun!

Dair

This episode of Gossip Girl featured a lot of Blair and Dan (Dair) at their new internship at W Magazine, the episode was filled with witty banter and funny one liners:
 Dan: Epperley asked me to pull the lemon Louis Vuittons.
Blair: Oh. You poor lost lamb. Let me help you.
Dan: I didn't date Serena van der Woodsen for two years to not come away knowing that those are Marc Jacobs and they're mustard.

Dan gets his dirty on and back stabs B, who surprisingly wasn't scheming. We didn't get to see much of Nate (boo) and I am not enjoying Chuck and Raina's relationship, but we all know it will be short lived. My friend said she fully supports Ben and Serena dating, but for me I think Dan and Serena are meant for each other and they should finally make that happen. It'll be interesting once Dan realizes he has a new roommate, and Serena will be forced to choose again. 

It is on!

The Kids Are Bratty

i usually enjoy watching the kids scheme but last night i really couldn't stand it. i know that Lily did wrong but they have to at least give her a chance to explain, because she may actually be trying to better the situation. i may have been a little to sick to pay attention to any details other than the general plot. But i was thoroughly excited to see Dan and Blair's witty banter. i hope we see more of Nate's good looks and charm, he was lacking this episode. i was also disappointed in Serena's attitude towards Dan at the beginning, Dan is always good to her, while Serena is flaky.  Chuck go to Blair please! Raina is just playing games!!This was not one of my favorites episodes but i am always looking forward to another episode!

Pretty Little Liars What They Wear: Aria

Aria: She is very bohemian, and her closet is filled with earth tones, florals, and boots. Her hair is always hanging past her shoulders- very casual. Despite being high school she carries on a relationship with Mr. Fitz her english teachers. She is very well cultured having spent a year in the Netherlands and is beyond high school drama. What I admire about Aria's sense of style is that she is not afraid to mix prints, fabrics and colors.

Pretty Little Liars What They Wear: Spencer

Spencer: She is our resident Prepster: a tennis player at the club, straight A's (heading towards an Ivy League School), captain of the Lacrosse team, wealthy parents, interior designer, and intern at the Mayor's office. But the one thing that sets her apart from other goodie tushus is that she can never seem to keep her hand's off her sister's boyfriends. So her style is very much clean cut, sweater vests, riding boots, oxfords, polos, button ups, tennis whites, pearls, and burberry bikinis.

Pretty Little Liars What They Wear: Hanna

I don't know how many of you watch Pretty Little Liars, the mystery keeps you cluing in and wanting more. And if that's not enough the different styles of Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily will seal the deal. What is great is that all four girls are friends with one another but yet they have such different personal styles. Each day I will post about one of these girls and their personal style, I will also feature how you can achieve that girl's look with some pieces available now.

Hanna: She is the schools "queen bee" and must look her best (stealing from stores becomes her hobbie). She did a complete 180 transformation, she began high school as a frumpy, self-proclaimed overweight sidekick. But this year she has a slamming body and isn't afraid to show it off. She wears a lot of structured jackets over a loose fitting, ruffled blouses.
