Photo Challenge {Day 5 & 6}

The weather in the city sucks right now. I planned on running at the beach today but the rain foiled these plans. So I'm stuck at home with nothing to do except curl up on the couch with my current obsession In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. It is so incredibly good, but I'm trying to read slowly so I can actually enjoy it.

The challenge for yesterday was something at a high angle:

{Friends and I went to Haight Street to get some henna done. I wanted something really extensive but since I was the chauffeur for the day it didn't seem practical. So I got this cool design instead. }

Today's challenge is something at a low angle:

{It's been almost a week since I graduated high school but the decorations my parents put up are still there to remind me of the not so far away past.}

Photo Challenge {Day 3 & 4}

Day 3: Clouds

It was a weird day, Saturday. My sis and I went for a jog on the beach while it was raining, then all of a sudden it was sunny with NO CLOUDS. That posed a huge problem for me being as I needed to take a picture of a cloud. Not to worry the weird weather continued, because later in the day it was pouring so I got my shot.

Day 4: Something Green

While I could have gone a very safe and easy route with this one (grass), I decided not to. At the Treasure Island Flea Market I was scouting out green things and zoned in on these hand made wooden signs that have a beachy feel.

How amazing is it to take a photo with an elephant. Well lucky Reese Witherspoon got to shoot a movie with one! I can't wait to see the movie, the book is one of my all time favorites, and recommend you all read it before watching the movie. She recently did a circus themed photo shoot for the May issue of Vogue.
