7 Things On My Mind

1. School is kicking my butt lately and it doesn't help that i have major senioritis (seniors who no longer feel that they need to do school work). It's hard to think on the bright side when you keep getting layered on with homework and project. Thankfully tomorrow i have a field trip for marine biology to see elephant seals (pictures to come)!

2. i have been working out pretty consistently for a week now and my regimen now includes weight lifting in the morning, cause apparently if you work out in the morning you continue to burn fat throughout the day!

3. It has been rather nippy so a nice cup of hot chocolate sounds amazing, especially in some of the class rooms that have no heat. 

4. Juanes is coming to SF March 12 and i have been dying to get tickets soon. He is a musician from Colombia, has won 17 Latin Grammys and his music is absolutely amazing. He can go from being super upbeat to being really soft and endearing. That man can work a guitar. 

5. Black Button Ups: I have wanted one ever since i saw women working in a D&G store in Capri and i finally found a great one over the weekend. They look amazing with jeans and can be dressed up for night time. 

6. Cuba: My school is going to Cuba in June for a month and i want to go soo bad. However, my dad wants me to take an internship in the city. i couldn't imagine a better time than lounging in Cuba learning about dance, music, and practicing my already fluent Spanish! Internship or Cuba? Any suggestions?

7. Gossip Girl: i missed it this week so i feel a little lost cause i need a Blair fix real bad! Can't wait for the weekend to catch up on this weeks TV episodes

1. Ballerina Shoes: I used to take ballet classes and I am now regretting the fact that I quit so early in my dancing career. Especially after how beautiful ballerinas and ballerina outfits look when dancing to music. 

2. Haven In Paris: Is a company that allows you to rent an apartment in Paris, Tuscany, and Provence. The apartments are great and would be such a fun time to spend a couple of weeks in. I might have to invest some real time and money in one of them very soon.

3. Una Bella Vita: I recently found this blog that features really wonderful pictures, great inspiration, beautiful quotes, and I am so glad I found her blog. It is definitely a daily/must read.

4. Urban Outfitters Nail Polish: I love this nail polish and it comes in a variety of colors my favorite right now is Chrome. I have also become a nail painting wiz as of late, which is really surprising because before I would end up with a whole lot of nail polish on my fingers instead of my nails.

5. Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy: Probably the only perfume I've ever used. I am usually very anti-perfume and I get sick just walking through the perfume department. But this is the perfect mix of scent and doesn't overwhelm me when I wear it. 

6. Blair and Chuck: I miss having my weekly Monday Night Gossip Girl fix! I miss the witty banters between Chuck and Blair/ Dan and Blair/ Gossip Girl and Everyone. What's a girl to do without Gossip Girl?

7. Entre Nous: My newest read that was a gift this holiday season. I hope to use some French Girl qualities and mix them with my own; creating a mélange of qualities- fit for an American wishing I was a French girl. Parfait!

7 Things On My Mind

This will be my last post until Monday - so Happy Holidays! I hope it is filled with love, laughs, food, family and friends.

1. Leggings: My go-to when it comes to comfort. 
2. Starbucks Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate: Yum! I was really hesitant because of the salted part, but it was so good. It is really unfortunate that there is no Starbucks near me- otherwise I'd get like two a day (not recommended). 
3. Converse: Forget running shoes/high heels/slippers- I run/walk/dance/jump/climb/shop in my Converse.
4. Greek: The series finale starts this January 3 so I've started my marathon watching to catch myself up to speed. And it's way too easy to keep watching cause of all the hot guys!
5. Headbands: This may have started because of Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf and her obsession with them, but they are so cool. They are such a cool way to express your style- no two headbands are ever the same.
6. Presents: My sister and I are continuously guessing our presents now that they are fully wrapped and under the tree or in the stocking! Thanks Mom and Dad!
7. French Bulldogs: Cutest little guys are so funny, stubborn, playful and did I mention cute. I would love to find one under the tree this year- but I stay faithful to my dog Ricky always.
