the point of college is to learn (and have fun, yes you can do both). you learn something new everyday. whether it's in the classroom, the dining hall, the gym, or the dorms. in my short college career i've learned many things, but one thing that keeps coming up is: remember people's names.

heres why: it makes the other person feel good, which helps you feel good too. and if you ever need anything you can say their name instead of shouting, "hey you!" i'm not saying it's the easiest thing in the world but there are different tricks to remembering names: repeat their name after they've said it, and say it in your head a couple more times, try associating them with something else ex: judy is from boston, or try using their name in conversation as much as possible. sooner or later their name will just stick.
